BÜRKLE has been nominated for the 2026 German Sustainability Award in the Product category for its Inline Flat Lamination (IFL) technology.

Robert Bürkle GmbH has restructured itself in August 2023 and divided into four independent divisions in order to react more efficiently to customer requirements. In the future, the new divisions will be managed by Marco Schaible (PCB), Kai P. Treuner (PV, Glass & Plastic Cards), Matthias Picker (Surface/Woodworking) and on an interim basis by Dr. Arno Rogalla (Automation, Insulation, Doors, Parquet).

The Management is convinced that Bürkle will strengthen and expand its market position with the expansion of the Debrecen plant. It is important for the Groups and the Hungarian management teams that the Debrecen plant implements the high Bürkle quality standards of a German top machine and plant manufacturer in its daily work.

At the end of last year, Robert Bürkle GmbH successfully completed another major project in the plastic card business area. Three new SMARTLAM CHK were delivered for plastic card production on the Korean market. The lines will bring the production, which has existed for more than twenty years, up to the latest state of the art in press technology.

BÜRKLE will deliver another glass laminating line in 2021 and support Viwinco Windows in the strategic expansion of its market position. With this, the long-standing window and door manu-facturer is focusing on a new approach to laminating flat glass and safety glass.

The Intermediate People's Court confirms the BÜRKLE patent concerning multi-level, multi-daylight laminators. The judgment, which is not yet final, prohibits the Chinese machine builder Qinhuangdao Visual Automation Co., Ltd. from manufacturing and selling such laminators.

With the easy-LAM IFL, BÜRKLE developed a completely new way to laminate flat glass. Thanks to the successful inital type tested in cooperation with the Center for Construction Materials of the Technical University in Darmstadt, the autoclave-free laminating line officially maintains the highest quality standards for laminating laminated and laminated safety glass.

BÜRKLE is pleased to announce the successfull installation of two additional market-leading lamination systems to increase Thames Technology production capacity and ensure they can meet increasing customer demands.

PGT Innovations from Venice, Florida will integrate the IFL Glass Lamination System into their production in 2020. The inline laminating system for laminated glass recently developed by BÜRKLE offers a novel process consisting of thermal oil heated flat presses under vacuum.
