From the first contact in 2019, we had a good feeling about the project discussions with BÜRKLE. The easy-LAM IFL convinced us with advanced technology and fast cycle times and is, from our point of view, the right approach for glass lamination in the future have been researching autoclave-free lamination processes for well over a year prior to meeting with Burkle. The easy-LAM IFL utilized technology and processes that aligned with our vision for future of autoclave-free glass lamination.

One of the biggest advantages of the easy-LAM IFL is the flow. We are getting a continuous flow of smaller bed loads instead of large batches every few hours. This lines up with our just-in-time manufacturing principles and focus on maintaining smooth flow. It also helps identify potential quality issues quicker.

One of the key benefits of the new Bürkle system is the reduction in lead time by loading the laminated glass every 15 minutes instead of an autoclave system that produces a large batch every few hours. This new process is in line with our core principles of just-in-time production and smooth flow. It avoids the waste caused by sorting large batches, allows us to identify potential quality issues and allows us to carry out new production much faster than with an autoclave process.
